Methodology and data definitions
Use these definitions to read the analysis. No score or signal is personal investment advice.
MQ rank
Trade and Invest are separate rankings. A lower number is a higher position in that model. Rank is a research screen, not an instruction to buy or sell. Sector rank and market wide rank answer different questions. The minimum turnover filter uses the stock's recorded traded value for the published session; missing values are excluded.
Scores and diamonds
Composite and Conviction are relative model scores. Diamonds provide a compact visual summary. A score difference does not guarantee future returns.
Alpha, beta and risk
Alpha measures return above DSEX over the stated window. Beta measures historical sensitivity to DSEX movements in that window. Neither fixes future risk.
Sectors and equal weighting
Sector indices and the equal weight index answer different questions. Equal weighting gives each stock the same influence; capitalization weighted indices do not. Sector breadth counts advancing, declining and unchanged constituents.
Polarity retests
Candidates test whether former resistance may act as support or former support as resistance. A retest is not a confirmed trade. The display score is higher is better: the stored lower is better 0–1 score is inverted to 0–100.
Buy, Cash, Sell
Cash represents the model's cash or avoid new exposure state. It does not mean hold an existing position. These labels summarize research outputs.
Charts and session dates
Check the session date shown beside each module. The 1-year high is the highest daily close, not the intraday high. The ‘Tk 100 each session’ comparison is a retrospective illustration; fees, taxes, dividends, corporate actions and fractional shares may not be modeled, so it is not a realized investment return.
